Our Villages are connected by heritage, industry, family and culture and with the centralisation of services the active travel pathways that connect our villages are just as important as ever to bring equitable opportunity and reduce our carbon footprint. Connecting with each other and local greenspace is a community priority, in response we’ve carried out lots of consultation and applied for funding to improve the local path network and sustainable travel options.

We are also amazed and delighted that Auchinloch Community Council have managed to deliver the hugely important project to connect their village with a safe walking route to Stepps and Beyond
